A late summer wedding on the property of the family home in Michigan was just perfect in every way. With an expansive area for the ceremony and a tented reception, it just made sense to host this special occasion at their home.

The tented space was ideal in all aspects, from a functional standpoint (for example, it had flooring throughout), to an aesthetic one (it had an installation of flowers overhead), and everything in between. The color scheme for late summer was interlaced with deep red tones, and it came to life during the reception with ivory linens used as a backdrop. A whimsical and romantic atmosphere was maintained by the use of a china pattern with flower motifs and goblets made of cut glass.

The bride's parents were instrumental in the planning and execution of many aspects of this special day, including the construction of framed archways under which the ceremony was held and the creation of floral arrangements with flowers purchased from a local flower farm.
